I like how your words in this sound like a song:] It's up to you if you want to submit or not now. Totally up to you. Anyway, they can give you advice on the layout. You have to make the choice but you really have nothing to lose, you know. Each step is learning more and more about layouts:D

i blend the brushes with the purple color in photoshop... like a gradient... so it finish but u can see because of the color that its set on the code lol... i loved it. but i can bet it will be reject if i upload... so i wont try until i get better on this

Okay I just saw your message about the layout so let me be really honest with you: I love how the About Me is off to one side like that. That really gets me & I don't think I've seen a CB layout like that. But the background is not clear and I can see where the background stops in some parts. Last thing is that I think this is too creative for Createblog at this time.

The other Createblog layouts are just boxes with brushes.This is not the place for creativity; you should know that by now. So if you just make a few boxes & use the same brushes the other Createblog layouts have, and it could really be accepted. I mean the chance is high. Just look at the other CB layouts & you will see they all look the same except 2 or 3 from years ago.

I'm agree with you because well... the T-R comment give me to undestand that she/he accept or reject just because she likes or not... i don't know her and i guess i haven't problems with her. but i saw what you should have to be part of the staff... and thats horrible you should have lots of lyts or lots of graphics [doesn't work with avatars] or lots of whatever... i guess tutorials wheren't part... but? how u are part of the staff if you can't tame graphic design?... I think all of the staff reject or accept if they like... but with professionalism...for example...at facebook... i wrote to a girl who i don't even know that her image editing was pretty amm.... it doesnt look good... and i told her that if maybe she change a little things if could be better

Don't be angry but...I know what you said to Christy, and I know what she said to you. I read those comments because, well, I her profile at some point and saw you there. It was "heated". So I followed and saw what she wrote. I'm not judging. Ha ha. I've learned not to judge people because I'm catching the "tail-end" of something and don't know what the beginning was. Hope you're not mad at me.

It's really really hard to get things approved here , and it feels like it's getting harder and harder. It's weird because it feels like it should be getting easier and easier as time goes past, but no. That's the strangest thing.

You know, I read something in the forum today which bothered me. It's in my "posts" I left a comment because BrooklynEast asked if Vectors were Art as a topic. Tokyo-Rose wrote that she had "limited" knowledge of graphics" and went on to state that the "queue" of graphics was so bad", ect. And that the bulk of what she gets from people here is just photos that have been altered/turned into icons/avatars. What I got from her post was that because of what people here submit, her view of graphic Design is 'skewed'/messed up. She also said that without photos, 50% of graphic design would be gone, which is the craziest thing I've heard in a long time. Everything we use is graphic design. Even the Paint Shop Pro is designed to look pleasant by graphic design. Our computers were designed using graphic design. Really, it's the craziest thing I've ever heard. But let me state that I "think" she said that. Brooklyn East responded to her and that comment but I'm not certain it was her who made the 50% comment on graphic design.

What bothered me was the comment T-R said about having "limited" knowledge of graphic design. That really displeased me. How can you judge what graphic design is if your knowledge is limited? How can you judge submissions based on limited knowledge, if that be the case? I don't like it. I don't like it at all.

This is NOT an attack on her "personally"; I don't know her personally, and I'm not trying to put her down or insult her/bad mouth her. It's just something that caught my attention in a negative way.

i know sometimes christy is not as kidness as the other ones... i mean. the whole staff when u get rejected they say "ooh look this could be better like this" ir in otherway they told you what they didn't like but jut put HORRIBLE "crop" "choice of font" ....EVERYTHING i actually write her that she doesn't deserve to be part of the staff... look it at her profile... i really write she wasn't polite... and i critisism one of her graphics. because if i were part of the staff or if i were uploading it they would probably rejected... watch

Yes it looks like it's coming along nicely. CB is a tough nut to crack. Whew! You know, it's funny. I guess it really depends on who is reviewing. The tape animation I had wouldn't have gotten past Christy. It's funny. I think I'll probably stick to the bulletin board icons (like the coca cola thing) for now because those are the only ones that get approved by every reviewer. But anyway, I'm rambling/thinking to myself out loud like a crazy person. ha ha.

You kow what, I think you'd better cover up ALL the seams in this. Like the background HAS to match perfectly or I think they will reject this IMO. I've learned today from having 7 layouts rejected that it's maybe better to have a plain one-color background that looks seamless (and probably boring) than to try to get creative. They just end up saying it looks "tacky" or whatever...if you try to get too creative. Do you know what I mean? Seems like "Convention" is the magic word around here these days. But that's just my opinion. Please take it with a grain of salt:D
