I'm sorry, XD I forgot that about codes in comments. This would have been easier, look at my site for HTML codes: http://dyindyinjohnson.zzl.org /html-codes/

Plain old links are pretty easy, but if you wanted to have a link as part of your image, like the ones in the Gaga layout, then you need to use a method called image mapping. It's pretty easy. Place the link names where you want them, like the Gaga layout i made them diagonal. Just use your editing program, Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, ect. Then this is where you can use an image mapping website, it's not seen as a generator so it's okay. I prefer to use this one: http://www.isdntek.com/tagbot/ imap.htm It is very simple and easy. Paste your layout's image into the space that says Image URL and then click new link, move the box around and resize it to fit the link's image. Then type the links URL in, and click new link. Repeat these steps until you have all done. Then click generate code. Paste that into your code. As for regular plain ol' links, here's what the code is: TYPEHERE That's a basic link. As for rollovers that's another story, and I'll be happy to help you with that. You may use my style sheets to use as a guide. You are more than welcome to use my links for adding, blocking, commenting, ect. Let me know if any of this seems confusing! MASTER- I mean CAIMAN (oh, I made myself laugh because I just scrolled up and saw your last name was indeed 'Masterson'),
Thank you so much for your advice on the shadows before. I've applied the technique and the layout I'm working on looks much better because of it, so thank you!! It 'did' give the material the appearance of 'jumping off the page' a bit. Very good(: I have another question, please....I've been racking my brain and trying to find out how to create the Myspace links for the same layout. Is using Dreamweaver for this considered "using a generator"? Because I wouldn't know where to begin to create the links. Is there a place where I can find the links or do you mind if I look at your GaGa layout to see what those linking codes are? I don't think that would be 'stealing' if I used the codes because I think we all have to use those exact same codes with the exception of friend I'.D's from what I've seen, unless I'm mistaken. Caimen, can you suggest where I might find the MS codes for "add", Block", Favorite", ,ect. I feel like I'm doing something wrong here. Thank you very much. I feel frustrated with this when it should be the easiest part- the layout and scroll box is done.

No problem, and thanks for the support! I haven't been on CB as often because I'm working on getting my website installed with WordPress.

Thanks so much for your comment and for sharing your talent and information. It just feels good to actually 'meet' the designer that brought me here. This is a great feeling because I thought maybe you had abandoned your account , maybe. So glad to hear from you! What a treat! Since I'm one of your actual fans, may I be your friend on here, if you don't mind? xo

Thanks for all those layout comments! I really appreciate it. As for how I got the image of Lady Gaga so crisp and to give the appearance of how it jumps off the page, was easy. I searched around for not just a large image, but a bright, colorful image of her. When I removed the background from her, I blurred all of the edges to not draw your attention to her edges, but her body. Then I went to filter>sharpen>sharpen. Then I added the slight drop shadow to make it seem like she is lifted off the page. Finally I added the brushes behind her to add to her.
